ERIC’S STORY

As a music educator by trade, Eric Woltman believes that music, art, film and dance are all one of the same. He has been teaching music for eight years and incorporates his love for filmmaking in the musical productions at Pleasantdale Elementary in LaGrange, Illinois, where he teaches kindergarten and first through fourth grade students. Exploring his interest in film, Eric went back to school to begin earning his second Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics. Eric continuously opens himself up to the experiences and influences gained through the powerful art of filmmaking.

Feature Length Film - The Fixer - Vic Simmons is a man with an emotionally dark, turbulent past, and that past has forged him into who is today. He's a licensed private investigator, but is known as "the fixer," a man people goto when they have been dealt with an injustice.

Pleasantdale Elementary School - 2006
Series of Short Narrative Films – A Christmas Carol – These short films were created to accompany seven songs performed by first and second graders at Pleasantdale Elementary. This was Pleasantdale’s very own rendition of A Christmas Carol, in which a student causes trouble the night of the big Christmas concert and is sent to the music room where she meets a ghostly classmate and the three spirits of concert past, present, and future.
